"Davenport Brothers Sideshow"
Some would say you have to see it to believe it. Others
would say it's strange and bizarre. Call it what you
will, it's unbelievable and on top of that, it's live!
Right in front of your eyes see the "Davenport Brothers"
perform old fashion sideshow feats, as well as psychotic
and mysterious illusions along with some unexplained
phenomenons. Some featured stunts are classics such as
walking on glass, the infamous blockhead, and the bed of
nails.
Some featured illusions
are various escapes
including chains,
shackles, locks, and even
a
straight jacket!
We also perform the famous
Razor Blade Illusion, all
of which are presented in
a sideshow 'intense' kind
of atmosphere.
The show itself is full of fun entertainment, along with
stomach busting humor. We can present the show in several
small performances, or as one or two longer sessions. We
can also accommodate different show schedules with the
venue. This is perfect for haunted houses, carnivals, and
county fairs that are looking for a little something
different, that people will remember.

A Little History:
The real Davenport Brothers were only 16 and 14
when they went on stage for the first time in 1855.
They were from Buffalo, New York and were a
major role of the Spiritualist movement before the
civil war. They created what is known today as
the spirit cabinet, which is performed by many
magicians including David Copperfield. They were
close to Houdini and influenced him as well as the
entire art, that is magic.

Our act in no way a reenactment of what they
performed or the way they presented it.
We have simply borrowed the name as a
remembrance to historical figures from our home
town.
